Who are 2B Accounting and Business Solutions?
2B Accounting and Business Solutions has over 30 years’ experience working in the commercial accounting sector and can offer everything a full-time accounts team can offer with the flexibility of being on an “as and when” required basis. 2B Accounting and Business Solutions can offer a range of accounting services from Bookkeeping through to Management Reporting and Company Secretarial services.
2B Accounting & Business Solutions is located just outside of Buckingham and is run by Brian Boggie. Brian is a qualified Management Accountant and has acquired a wealth of experience in Business Management. Having had 32 years as a Group FD for a Cambridgeshire-based company, Brian has experience in most areas of business including staffing, transport, contract negotiation, leases, premises management and buying and selling the business itself.
What do 2B Accounting and Business Solutions do?
2B Accounting services include Bookkeeping, Financial Accounts, Accounts Preparation for sole traders and partnerships, VAT returns and reconciliations, Payroll, Accounts Preparation for statutory purposes, Budgets and Forecasting, Management Accounting.
2B Accounting also provides business consulting services for small businesses in Buckingham including Company Secretarial Services, Internal Audit, HR Support, Fleet Management, Legal liaison, Utility & Communications review, as well as Health & Safety legislation compliance.
About Brian Boggie of 2B Accounting and Business Solutions
Brian was born in Newmarket, the Horseracing Capital of the world, but growing to 5’10” meant he would always need to find an alternative career. His first choice was to follow his father into the Motor Trade but never developed the dexterity to use spanners and other tools to a high skill level so decided a desk job was the route for him. On leaving school at 16 he spent 6 months as a hotel porter lugging suitcases in a hotel with no lift before commencing his accountancy training and subsequent career.
Interesting fact - Brian is extremely colourblind and his wife colour co-ordinates his clothes before a meeting or when going out.
Other hobbies - Rugby, Brian has a RFU level 2 coaching qualification but now mainly “First Aids” at his son’s games. Brian is also Treasurer of Buckingham Rugby Club. A time consuming but thoroughly enjoyable volunteer role.
Funny story - When being interviewed by BBC Look East for a piece on Launderettes I was perched on a Top Load washing machine talking to camera when it went into full spin. Lets just say we had to cut……
Favourite memory – As a young child, going out with my Dad on breakdown recovery work. Something today the Health & Safety Police probably wouldn’t allow
What do you most enjoy about business networking?
The opportunity to meet new people and learn of the diverse range of business ventures there are out there.
Why did 2B Accounting join that networking group?
2B Accounting joined that networking group because Brian had been involved in networking groups when based in Cambridgeshire but had never found one locally that suited him. The informal and social basis of that networking group really appealed to him.
